Option 1: Prizes/Awards for Research Paper Presentation
In order to encourage and inspire the young and budding researchers, the Society, during its Annual Conferences holds a "Special Session" of “Paper Presentation Competition” for various prizes to be awarded to the best research papers presented. Option 2: Contributory Paper Presentations/ Posters for Symposium
There will be paper and poster presentation sessions on the themes of the conference and symposia. The last of submission is September 30, 2019. Please visit IMS website or IMS2019 website to see the details and format.
Note: In either option 1 or 2, all the necessary academic communications like submitting the paper, receiving acceptance letter etc. should be addressed to The Academic Secretary, IMS at firstname.lastname@example.org
Once the paper / poster is accepted, it is mandatory for everyone to register. The registration process is done through the IMS2019 website via CEP, IIT Kharagpur portal. The Indian Mathematical Society (IMS) is the oldest and the largest Mathematical Society of the Country. Every year, the society organizes its annual conference at different locations of the country. The upcoming 85th Annual Conference of Indian Mathematical Society will be organized during 22-25 November 2019 at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) is a public engineering institution established by the Government of India in 1951. It was the first of the IITs to be established and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. The institute was established to train scientists and engineers after India attained independence in 1947. It shares its organizational structure and undergraduate admission process with sister IITs. The campus is spread over 8.5 square kilometers (2,100 acres) and is residence to about 22,000 inhabitants.
